Someone left a dying burger on a damp, wooden park bench yesterday. Someone was awake yet dreaming at this haunting hour. Someone, someone far away, someone with hopeless amber eyes, someone with a wriggling coat of possum fur, someone whose black, black, hair tugged at the hood that smothered their head from the ghosts of the night, someone, far away, was lost.
The town stirred along with the movement of the wind. Glow, shine and flicker; street lamps awoke. A dog barked wildly, breaking the eerie silence. The clouds rush
